■ Textile and pulp & paper industry
As bleaching agent, and for removing of excess of chlorine and peroxides.
■ Pulp mills
In pulp mills in the production of sulphite pulp.
■ Drilling water
In drilling water (oil extracting industry), as oxygen scavenger.
■ Steam boiler treatment
In steam boiler treatment to remove dissolved oxygen and to decrease metal contaminants (mainly copper).
